Out of the Fire is simply our favorite restaurant in Talbot County. Somewhat hard to describe, they have wonderful eclectic takes on everything from seafood dishes to pizza. A wonderful wine and beer list and homemade ice cream complete a stellar menu.
Market Street Pub – Denton

If Out of the Fire is the spot for locals in Talbot County, Market Street Public House (affectionately “The Pub”) certainly deserves the same title east in Caroline County. Great, reliable pub fare and a strong beer list, and a team that will make you feel like a local right away. Live music and events most weekends.

People come to Tiger Lily for the fantastic outdoor patio, and end up coming back for the great food and drinks. Probably the latest spot open in Easton, they have a great cocktail and beer menu and fusion food options with a lot of handhelds. Very easy place to bring kids to as well, especially on a nice day along Washington Street.
Denton Pizza Co. – Denton

Watershed Alley is a brand new restaurant in downtown Chestertown and has quickly become one of the nicest on the Shore. While Chestertown is a bit farther than other locations from the bungalow, its a wonderful place for an evening out or a day-trip to check out their quaint downtown. While there, visit Watershed Alley’s neighbor, The Retriever, for a fantastic bar/quick eats experience.
