Relax in this quiet, renovated bungalow just a short bike ride to Tuckahoe State Park, the Eastern Shore’s largest state park at nearly 4,000 acres. Kayak or paddle board down nearby Tuckahoe Creek, hike through Adkins Arboretum, or enjoy a day of relaxation in this quiet oasis.
You will love its central location. Only 10 min. to Denton, 15 min. to Easton, 35 min. to St. Michaels or Chestertown, 45 min. to Cambridge, and 30 min. from the Bay Bridge. A short day trip to Rehoboth as well.
Please be mindful of neighbors. Only two cars are allowed on the property at any time. Please park in designated area in front of patio. Do not go onto neighbors’ property at any time. Please have all guests stay out of the adjacent wooded area.
While a classic brick bungalow at its heart, Tuckahoe Bungalow is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart thermostat, smart TV, smart locks, and high-end washer and dryer. Some comfort level with technology will be helpful during your stay.
We love the little community our bungalow is nestled in, however please note that it is a rural setting. Thus, while you'll be delighted by the birds in the trees, bugs and critters may also be present. Also, it is a dark area at night, so please be careful and drive slow if coming in after dusk.
If flying in, BWI (Baltimore) is the closest airport a little more than one hour away. Hop on Route 50 to Route 404 toward Queen Anne. Enterprise in Easton offers rental cars.
There are no stairs within the home, and only a couple of stairs up to the front and back doors. The bathroom is narrow, which may make it difficult to access with a wheelchair or walker.
Tuckahoe Bungalow is perfect for those looking to experience the best of the Eastern Shore. Centrally located to offer the Shore’s most beautiful outdoor activities along with an easy spot to rest your head after a long day of shopping, eating, and imbibing. The bungalow is perfect for a quick romantic getaway or an easy space to bring the kids without worry about hotel rooms, shared beds, etc. Please be sure to read through our policies and the home’s description thoroughly to ensure that Tuckahoe Bungalow is right for you and your party.
